Christina Applegate (born in Hollywood, November 25, 1971) is the daughter of Robert Applegate, record producer and Nancy Priddy, an actress-singer. Applegate quit school at age 17 to pursue acting. She studies jazz and dance. She played in a series of TV series before landing her breakout role in "Married... with Children" (1987) in 1987. In the 1980s and early 1990s, she was nominated four times in the annual Youth in Film Awards, two of which she won. From 1998 to 2000, she starred in her own sitcom called Jesse. On October 20, 2001, she married longtime boyfriend Johnathon Schaech in a small Palm Springs ceremony attended by family and close friends.
