| March | 27 | The follow-up to George Clooney's 2005 hit 'Ocean's Twelve' will begin production on 21 July. Variety reports that 'Ocean's Thirteen' will re-unite Clooney and director Steven Soderbergh with Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle, Bernie Mac, Casey Affleck, Scott Caan, Eddie Jemison, Shaobo Qin, Carl Reiner and Elliott Gould. Ellen Barkin will play the lead female role in the film and the trade daily reports that her character will be closely involved with Damon's. The movie is due for release in the summer of 2007.
| | 13 | Don Cheadle is atop the wish list of actors being considered to play the late jazz god, Miles Davis, in a planned movie project, according to Davis' nephew, Vince Wilburn. "People are submitting scripts to Sony Pictures," Wilburn told reporters. "A few names have come up, but Don Cheadle's name keeps coming up." Wilburn says the movie "could touch on many things, [such as] the way he changed music in different decades, from Bird to bebop to hip-hop and in between."
