Speaking to WKQI-FM's morning show, Kim Mathers hinted that her off-on-off-on-off husband had begun using drugs again. Kim said she was surprised by Em's divorce filing on Wednesday. Eminem couldn't resist dissing his estranged wife's remarks. "A few of Kim's statements in a radio interview need to be addressed. First, her allegations regarding my status post-rehab are both untrue and unfortunate. Second, she was aware that I was filing for divorce. We both tried to give our marriage another chance and quickly realized that a wedding doesn't fix the underlying problems," he said.

"There has been a breakdown in the marriage relationship to the extent that the objects of matrimony have been destroyed and there remains no reasonable likelihood that the marriage can be preserved," according to the filing, which was made in Macomb County on behalf of Marshall Bruce Mathers III, Eminem's real name. The filing also states that Eminem and his wife signed a prenuptial agreement a week before their Jan. 14 wedding ceremony in Rochester. It doesn't describe the specifics of the prenuptial agreement, other than to say that "the property of the parties should be divided in accordance with" the agreement.
