Eva Mendes (born March 5, 1974) is an American actress. Mendes was born in Miami, Florida and was raised in Los Angeles. She is Cuban-American.
She a marketing major at California State University, Northridge but dropped out to seek a career acting. She worked her way up through commercials to music videos to guest roles in TV series to supporting film roles. While she has not had any lead roles, she has received attention in the supporting roles she has played. Mendes has worked in interior design and written children's books, titled "Crazy Leggs Beshee" which inspired by her nieces and nephews.
Graduated from Herbert Hoover High School in Glendale, California.
