Leah Remini (born June 15, 1970 in Brooklyn, NY) is an Italian American actress via her father; her mother is Russian Jewish. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother and sister at the age of 13, and left school at 14. She first became known as Charlie, the girl with a chip on her shoulder, on the 1989 sitcom Living Dolls. From there, she played Stacey Carosi for a multi-episode stint on Saved by the Bell. Nowadays, she is best known as Doug Heffernan's (Kevin James) wife, Carrie, on the television series The King of Queens, a role she started playing in 1998. Leah Remini is a scientologist. She is married to Angelo Pagan (19 July 2003-present), together they have 1 child. She once worked as a telemarketer. In May 2002 she has joined the nationally syndicated Don and Mike radio show. She was ranked #19 in Stuff magazine's "102 Sexiest Women in the World" (2002).
