In Paris for the European premiere of her latest film "Basic Instinct 2," Stone told a press conference in the Ritz Hotel that the law should be suspended. French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepein has so far refused to back down over the law, which allows employers to dismiss workers under the age of 26 without a reason during a two-year trial period. De Villepein argues it will help cut youth unemployment of 23 percent, more than twice the national rate. However, the actress was keen to underline that she did not approve of the violent turn the protests have taken over the weekend.

"La Sharon," as the locals call her, will attend the Paris opening on Tuesday, March 21st at the Pathe Marignan, just off the Champs Elysees.
