Karen Victoria Silverstedt was born on September 19, 1974 in Sweden. Silvstedt appeared as a centerfold in the December 1996 issue of Playboy and was subsequently named Playmate of the Year in 1997. She has also skied competitively in the giant slalom as a lithe Swedish athlete. In 1993, Victoria earned the title of Miss Sweden and competed in Miss World. There, Victoria met a modeling agent from Paris and has been modeling ever since. She then became a spokesmodel for Guess Jeans. She has appeared in films such as Boat Trip, The Independent, and BASEketball. She was already well recognised in the UK when she took on a new career, hosting The Late Show on Virgin Radio. She married Chris Wragge in 10 June 2000.
