| March | 13 | Over the past couple of weeks helmer Robert Luketic has been busy assembling his cast for highly anticipated Dallas, and Daily Variety reports it's turning out to be an all-star one at that. Jennifer Lopez has now been offered the role of Sue Ellen Ewing; John Travolta has been linked to the role of J.R. Ewing; Luke Wilson has been selected to bring Bobby Ewing to the big screen; and Oscar winner Shirley MacLaine is up for the role of Miss Ellie Ewing. Should the deals come together, shooting will likely begin in October after Hairspray is in the can.
