Thomas John Patrick Welling was born on April 26th, 1977 in New York. He graduated from Okemos High School in Michigan in 1995. He was discovered at the age of 21 by a catalogue shoot scout who suggested he try modeling. His first big break was landing six episodes on Judging Amy in 2001. His role as Clark Kent on Smallville brought him to fame. He married Jamie White on July 5th, 2002.
