When I have children someday I’m going to be able to show them I was part of this great icon. It’s a great feeling.
You throw yourself out there and you’ve got to figure some things out on your own. You’ve got a million people telling you different things, but you really have to find the truth in yourself.
You know one of the things about going from modeling to acting is it’s so much more fulfilling. With modeling, you get your picture taken, which is great, good for you, you know? But in acting, you’re able to reach in and show a little bit more of yourself.
Well, I can’t have my fingernails clipped or filed, I just don’t like it. So when they get long, I’ll bite them and spit them out.

Acting is much better than modeling. It’s less about the surface and more about what you can actually do. Besides, I wasn’t a very good model, really - I didn’t get that much work!
I wasn’t the most popular kid in school but I wasn’t an outcast. I played sports all the way through high school and was average. I was never hung up as a scarecrow and I could never flip cars or anything like that, but not too many others could do that either!
I couldn’t believe it when they told me I got it. I never really knew what I wanted to do with my life, but somehow I knew I wanted to be that guy who saves the day.
I’ve realised that I have to make the best of what I’ve got, and I don’t forget for a second that this is a beautiful opportunity that may never happen again.
