Canadian actor Lloyd Bochner spoofs his own performance in the famous 1962 episode of "The Twilight Zone" (1959) entitled "To Serve Man" in this picture. In a panicked crowd scene late in the film, Bochner can be seen carrying a large book with "To Serve Man" on the cover and shouting to passers-by "It's a cookbook! It's a cookbook!" which was the final, climactic line of the Twilight Zone episode.
